It's...hasty, almost illegible, but in Japanese. It's obvious who this is from.]
"It's October 4th. Hope your wish came true."
[And then, at the bottom...smaller, as if trying to crunch it all in as an afterthought.]
[This one's probably the longest note, hung right in the middle of the wall above his desk.]
"There's this one story I heard about back home. Something about a koi having to jump up a waterfall. It kept falling down, and no matter how many times it got back up and did it again. I guess one day it made it up to the top. And get this--the gods turned it into a dragon.
Crazy, huh? How do people come up with this stuff?
[This note looks like it's been crumpled up a million times, so much that the Kanji is probably almost illegible. It's not even taped to the table. It's just sitting there.]
